“Well” Bottom Glass Landau:
Our “Well” bottom glass Landau carriages has a square bottom to the carriage and is in a midnight blue colour and lined with silver around the doors and wheel spokes and inscrolled with “EC” on the doors. It has navy blue leather interior and is designed to accommodate 4 adults comfortably (plus the driver and groom).
The carriages are reproduction vehicles, made in Poland and are based on an 1890’s original. Due to today’s traffic and for the welfare of the horses (in order that they do not take the weight of the carriage down hill), we opted to have disc brakes on the rear wheels of the carriage. The glass carriages hoods may be raised and lowered within 2 minutes, making these ideal carriages for the unpredictable British Climate!

“Canoe” Bottom Glass Landau:
Our “Canoe” shaped landau is as it sounds much more curved at the bottom and has a small oval window in the back of the hood. Other than this carriage having grey leather upholstery, the colours are identical to the “Well” shaped Landau above.
This carriage has an additional seat on the back, which can replaced the luggage box, to create a coach like appearance with umbrella/hunting horn basket as an additional attachment.
